If you’ve been working hard, investing time, and showing up for everyone even missing important events to do more work but still not hitting your business goals this message is for you.
It’s not always about working harder.
It’s not always about knowing more.
What matters most is having a clear system and an unshakable desire to make your vision real.
If you have a vision pulling at your heart refusing to let you settle that is no accident. You are here for a reason. This calling, this business, this life you’re building is your assignment.
Let’s talk about why you might be not hitting your business goals and how to turn things around fast.
Why Are You Not Hitting Your Business Goals?
You’ve likely done the courses, joined the programs, maybe even worked with coaches.
But results don’t always follow investments.
And it’s not because the info didn’t work…
It’s because you didn’t have the system to make it stick.
More specifically:
- Your calendar doesn’t reflect your goals
- You’re not doing visibility work consistently
- You’re hoping inspiration will replace implementation
And it never does.
You don’t need more tips.
You need a framework that honors your vision—daily, weekly, quarterly.
What’s Missing? A Calendar That Aligns With Your Vision
Here’s the reality check I had to sit with:
If my calendar doesn’t reflect my goals, then I’m not building—I’m just reacting.
You don’t rise to the level of your dreams.
You fall to the level of your systems.
And when your calendar is just full of random to-dos or endless client delivery with no time blocked for your brand visibility, sales, or content—you’re unintentionally blocking your own overflow.
How I Used to Plan (And Why It Wasn’t Working)
There was a season when I treated marketing like an afterthought.
Client work? ✅
Family routines? ✅
But marketing? If I had time (but really low-key hiding).
Which meant I barely posted, didn’t pitch myself, and I definitely didn’t build trust at scale.
Until it hit me—marketing is not optional if you want to lead.
It has to become one of your non-negotiables, just like prayer, health, and reading to your babies before bed.
That shift changed everything.
Step-by-Step: How to Build a Schedule That Moves the Needle
Step 1: Start with the Vision
Ask: What do I want to be true in 90 days?
- Is it revenue?
- Subscriber count?
- Consistent content?
Define it clearly.
Step 2: Map the Milestones
Break your vision into key steps—like launching an offer, publishing 4 blogs, or pitching yourself to podcasts.
Then assign each one to a specific week.
Step 3: Build Your Weekly Non-Negotiables
Don’t wait to “find time.” Build the habit now. Weekly non-negotiables might look like:
- Prayer and Journaling
- 1 YouTube video (practiced + recorded)
- 2–3 IG posts
- 1 email
- 5 daily sales/engagement touch points
- 1 hour of skill building (copywriting, video, sales)
Step 4: Turn It Into a Living Calendar
This is what I now teach and model: your calendar must reflect your calling.
Use ClickUp, Google Calendar, or your printed planner (especially if you’re getting my Q4 planner when it drops later this year) to actually block this into your schedule.
Key Insight: You’re Not Behind—But You Are Responsible
What you track improves.
What you put on your calendar gets done.
You don’t need a content fairy or magical energy boost (actually yes, yes we do:))
You need a clear plan that doesn’t depend on inspiration to move.
And you need to keep showing up before you feel like it.
This isn’t just about hustle. It’s about alignment.
Faith without works is dead—and a vision without time on your calendar is just a wish.
This Is Your Assignment
No one else can steward the vision you were given.
And no one else is responsible for making it real but you.
Your future self is going to thank you for:
- Prepping the script
- Laying out the outfits
- Scheduling the time
- Following through
And yes, she’ll thank you for reading this blog and deciding:
“No more random hustle. I’m building my brand on purpose.”
Start today.
Start with your calendar today.
If your calendar does not reflect what matters most your goals will always feel just out of reach. This is why you may still be not hitting your business goals.
