My story

former government worker turned speaker, coach, and entrepreneur

In 2012, before my first son's first birthday, I was trapped in the belief that a better life wasn't for me.

At my job, older women often squashed my ideas, leaving me without role models for a more supportive way of being. Then, my first mentor arrived, overwhelming me with her kindness and inspiring me to uplift myself and other women, rather than hold them back.

After,

I found myself inspiring others to dream bigger

Thanks to that mentor, I decided to pursue education against all odds while working full time and raising children.

I found myself mentoring fellow students on how to get scholarships, eventually speaking on stage to bigger and bigger groups. I loved it and decided to lean into coaching. Eventually it morphed into my current passion for helping women cultivate their legacies, just like my mentor did for me.

Today, I’m a proud wife, and mother of four boys and a dog. I hold a BSc and graduated from a HBCU. When I’m not chasing my family around, I’m also an avid reader and Marvel enthusiast. I live by the motto “nothing is off-limits” (except for the kids’ bathroom, of course!)
